(Grey’s Anatomy 9x24)
THE CALZONA SCENE IN THE 9X24 FINALE HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE MOST INTENSE, HEART BREAKING AND BEST SCENES GREY’S ANATOMY HAS EVER HAD!!!!
Everything Arizona said in that scene just broke my heart, it was like as though a different person was speaking for her! Nothing she said sounded like the old Arizona Callie fell in love with… SHE DIDN’T EVEN APOLOGISE, SHE JUST BLAMED EVERYTHING ON CALLIE!!!!
I was gutted when she said:
“STICK OUT YOUR LEG AND I WILL GO GRAB A BONE SAW AND LET’S EVEN THE SCORE!”
then cried “OH” in her hands like she couldn’t even believe those words came out of her own mouth… Arizona really did change, Callie really did lose her and this was SO many emotions poured out everywhere after being bottled up all season!
I feel extremely sorry for both Callie and Arizona… for Callie because she has lost so many loved ones over time and for Arizona because she has truly lost herself!
Mark Sloan once said to Callie, “You fought, you loved, you lost” and I think that fits Calzona at the moment so well!
But I’m praying they get through this in season 10, I believe there’s still hope, underneath Arizona’s resentful and broken shell, I believe her feelings for Calliope and Sofia are still there and she’s just been hiding from them. Calzona do need help and I think with time and forgiveness they can learn to love again!
I mean they’ve been through everything!!!! :’(
